Fall in Arizona may not come with quite the same changing leaves and chilly temperatures as other parts of the country, but we definitely know how to celebrate pumpkin season.
From sprawling corn mazes and hayrides to petting zoos, amusement rides, pumpkin picking and good old-fashioned farm fun, there are some great pumpkin patches and fall festivals happening around Arizona in 2026.

Whether you’re looking for a quick family outing or want to make an entire day of it, here are 8 Arizona pumpkin patches and fall events worth checking out this season.
🎃 1. Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest — Dewey
If you’re up for a drive north, Mortimer Farms is one of Arizona’s biggest fall destinations.
Pumpkin Fest includes the farm park, animal encounters, corn maze and pick-your-own experiences. Fridays through Sundays bring even more activities, including entertainment, hayrides, food trucks and a marketplace. Friday and Saturday evenings also feature nighttime activities including the corn maze after dark. Mortimer Farms

🎃 3. Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party — Queen Creek
This isn’t just a pumpkin patch. Schnepf Farms turns much of the farm into a full fall festival.
The Pumpkin & Chili Party runs during October, with corn mazes, hayrides, a U-pick pumpkin patch, petting zoo, amusement rides, pig races, entertainment and, of course, plenty of chili and fall food. Schnepf Farms

For West Valley pumpkin hunting, Tolmachoff Farms is a longtime favorite.
Pumpkin Days runs October 1–31 and includes the pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, play areas and other farm activities. For the braver members of the family, the farm also hosts its separate AZ Field of Screams haunted corn maze on select October nights. Tolmachoff Farms

🎃 6. MacDonald’s Ranch Pumpkin Patch — Scottsdale
For those of us in the North Valley, this one deserves special attention because it’s considerably closer than some of the East Valley farms.
MacDonald’s Ranch begins its 2026 fall season October 3 and operates through October 31. Pumpkin Patch admission is $15 per person, with children 23 months and younger admitted free. Included activities range from panning for gold and a petting zoo to a hay-bale maze, pedal cars, games and fall photo spots. MacDonald’s Ranch

🎃 7. Dunkin’ for Pumpkins — Scottsdale
Here’s something a little different.
Instead of walking through a pumpkin patch, how about swimming for your pumpkin?
Scottsdale’s Dunkin’ for Pumpkins returns to McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center on Sunday, October 25. The floating pumpkin patch is accompanied by pumpkin decorating, carnival games, crafts and music.
There are two sessions—1:00–3:00 p.m. and 3:30–5:30 p.m.—and registration is required. scottsdaleaz_main

🎃 8. Arizona Pumpkin Patch — Multiple Locations
If you’re mainly interested in picking out pumpkins without paying admission to a large festival, this may be your best bet.
Arizona Pumpkin Patch locations open October 12 through Halloween, daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free and you simply pay for the pumpkins you purchase.
These are traditional pumpkin lots rather than amusement-style fall festivals—there is no corn maze or haunted house in 2026. Locations also carry gourds, corn stalks and carving kits. Arizona Pumpkin Patch

🍂 Which Arizona Pumpkin Patch Should You Visit?
If you want the full fall-festival experience, I’d put Mortimer Farms, Schnepf Farms, Vertuccio Farms and Tolmachoff Farms near the top of the list.
For North Phoenix, Anthem, Cave Creek and North Scottsdale families, MacDonald’s Ranch is particularly convenient.
And if your mission is simply pumpkins—without spending half the day at a festival—Arizona Pumpkin Patch offers the easiest no-admission option.
One Arizona-specific tip: October can still be surprisingly warm. For outdoor farms, earlier mornings and evenings can make the experience much more enjoyable.
